I am not sure if this is discontinued or not, but it is no longer on the pro list of pigments. Forest green is a blackened pine green. Gorgeous color perfect for a smokey green eye.

Great when black liner is too stark and you are doing a green themed eye. The green shimmer in this ties in beautifully.

I love this pigment, but doubt I will use up a jar in a very long time. Good thing, since it seems to have vanished from MAC's pigment lineup!

I have a couple of samples of this, if I could buy a full jar I would but refuse to pay the ransom for this discontinued colour that some ebayers want - in fact up to $75US. This is such a gorgeous colour it reminds me of deep purple and deep blue green, two of my favourite colours, the blackened smokey look to this pigment is PERFECT for the smokey eye and sexy sultry look if you are feeling that way inclined. This colour is truly a must have for people who like darker eyeshadows IF you can get it.
