General Comments on this product: Wow, Gold Metal Pigment is SO GORGEOUS!!!! It beats out every other brand, and even every other gold MAC product. When you apply this shadow, it looks like you're applying melted down liquid gold onto your lids - it is amazing. Such an eyecatcher. One caution - the Orlando Pro Store where I purchased it cautioned me that in some cases, it can set metal detectors off in airports and prisons, etc. due to its true metal content. I've not had a problem with it, and oh my gosh, I can't explain how gorgeous it is, you just have to try it yourself!

Gold metal pigment is the color of rich melted gold...it applies like a smooth liquid (like all metal pigments)...the most gorgeous color ever, one of my fav pigments that MAC has even released. Ultra bright/metallic and applies thickly onto the skin so you only need very little every time. Definitely run to get this one if you are into true metallic golds

a little goes a LONG WAY! this is awesome for just about anything you can think of, as are all the metal pigments. i use this one for lining a lot and it makes my eyes stand out really nicely

i keep a tiny tiny bit in a seperate jar and use it with mixing medium. i used it as mascara once, too, and that turned out awesome. i say "awesome" too much, but that's what this stuff is.

This is a pigment I truly adore!! Like the other metal pigments it glides on and has such a smooth almost creamy texture its incredibly easy to apply. My only warning is that because it applies so easily you really only need a tiny bit - a little bit really does go a long way with this pigment and its easier to build colour than to try and take it off!!
