Mirage is one of six new pigment powders that is truly new and unique. If you have tried any of the Sally Hansen Prismatic Nail Polishes from the last few years, then you will be familiar with prismatic pigments.
They reflect completely different colors depending on how you turn and look at them.
Mirage is a combination of three colors- teal, medium blue, and purple violet. As you look at it from different directions the entire eyelid surface changes color completely.
The only thing you have to know is, you have to use a DARK base under them to make them work. Most people only put them on dry, or with water on a naked lid and then get disappointed when they do not see vibrant color.
If applied over a dark base like Blacktrack Fluidline before it dries the effect is nothing short of magical. With some work and perserverence this is one of the most fascinating and unusual eyeshadow pigments I have ever used.
They come from the pureluxecosmetics.com site and the price is not as much as MAC pigments, you get a 10g jar for $20, a 5g jar for $12, or a sample for $2. Samples are a decent size also.
