Sweetscents pigments: Green Iridescent (loose color powder)
Overall 5
Price value 5+++++
Packaging quality 5
Buy again? YES!
Green Iridescent is another of the fabulous interference colors that sweetscents offers. Alone they give a lovely hint of color shimmer with a translucent white base color, used over darks, the effect is magical.
Green iridescent is what you see when you purchase like Dior Addict lipstick in Rose Scenario. The base color is rose but you have a slight green iridescent to it that does not scream at you, just gently prods you to come take a closer look.
Very versatile, I use this as highlighter on eyes, I use it in lipsticks, glosses, nail polish, blush (yes for certain looks it is fun), mix with other more mundane pigments- even colors like purple. The possibilities are endless.
If this is your first sweetscents review, they are phenomenal bargains. The same quality as MAC (each color varies in characteristics as with MAC pigments) sweetscents cost approx $2 each. You can find out more about them at http://www.sweetscents.com/mica_2.html Go to the bottom of the page at the mica pack combos for a selection of pricing packs.
Not all colors I am reviewing are listed on the site right now - it is supposed to be revamped soon, but if you tell the sweetscents lady that you read my review and I reviewed this color, then she will not like wonder how in the world you knew to ask for it. HAHAHA.
Also, she is very helpful in helping you to find colors you might like if you tell her what you want. She helped me find a ton of colors that I just love by talking with me via phone and/or emailing me about them.
