Iridescent Violet is similar to MAC's Pink Opal, but it has a light lilac shimmer instead of the warm pink shimmer like Pink Opal has. Finer milled than MAC's Pink Opal, Iridescent Violet is less chunky looking than Pink Opal.

I love this color. Looks amazing over pink or red lipstick. Excellent highlighter for MAC's Pink Pearl, Sweetscents Purple Shimmer, Magenta, and even with Green Ice.

It is very versatile, and with all of the interference colors you can use them over just about anything to get a new and unique look.

If this is your first sweetscents review, they are phenomenal bargains. The same quality as MAC (each color varies in characteristics as with MAC pigments) sweetscents cost approx $2 each. Not all colors I am reviewing are listed on the site right now - it is supposed to be revamped soon, but if you tell the sweetscents lady that you read my review and I reviewed this color, then she will not like wonder how in the world you knew to ask for it. HAHAHA.

Also, she is very helpful in helping you to find colors you might like if you tell her what you want. She helped me find a ton of colors that I just love by talking with me via phone and/or emailing me about them.
