Sweetscents Pigments: Midnight Gold (loose color powder)
Overall 5
Price value 5+++
Packaging Quality 5
Buy again? YES

Midnight Gold is a very unique color. A medium metallic gold, in the package, it looks like it will look like liquid metal when applied. However, surprisingly enough, this pigment applied looks like lots of individual shimmers instead of a smear of solid gold. This allows for a lighter look instead of such a heavy metallic gold look.

I like that feature about it. It mixes well with White Gold as a highlighter, and looks very beautiful- a bit more of the sophisticated look where less is more.

I like the hint of gold instead of the smear of gold factor of this pigment. It is very useful for many looks- including daywear if you handle it right. Great over lipstick and even dusted on cheeks, shoulders, and decollete for holiday looks.

You can even mix this with red interference or green interference for a really fabulous holiday color. It also looks awesome with MAC's old green pigment- adds so pizazz to it.

If this is your first sweetscents review, they are phenomenal bargains. The same quality as MAC (each color varies in characteristics as with MAC pigments) sweetscents cost approx $2 each. You can find out more about them at http://www.sweetscents.com/mica_2.html Go to the bottom of the page at the mica pack combos for a selection of pricing packs.

Not all colors I am reviewing are listed on the site right now - it is supposed to be revamped soon, but if you tell the sweetscents lady that you read my review and I reviewed this color, then she will not like wonder how in the world you knew to ask for it. HAHAHA.

Also, she is very helpful in helping you to find colors you might like if you tell her what you want. She helped me find a ton of colors that I just love by talking with me via phone and/or emailing me about them.
