Metallic/Sparkle fluidlines are NOT reccomended for use on the waterline. This includes:
Waveline
Brassy
Rich Ground
Silverstroke
Iris Eyes
Macroviolet
Sweet Sage
Frostlite
Blitz & Glitz

oh wow. thanks for posting this, I've been using macroviolet on my waterline for a while. thank goodness nothing's happened.

also, some LE ones like Delineate(sp), Lithograph, New Weed, Jadeway, Delphic, Haunting....those ones are also quite sparkly.

on the live chat at the mac website, I've had the person tell me that they don't recommend ANY of their eye liners for use on the waterline because of the possibility of irritation.

any truth to this?

No eyeliner in the world is totally safe on the waterline, it just depends on the person.

NO fludline is recommended for the waterline because they haven't been tested for use on the waterline. So any MAC MA will tell you that they're not safe for the waterline.

Doesn't it have something to do with lead used in the product? I'm sure MAC doesn't use lead but I saw a list somewhere...

No. It has more to do with specks of glitter getting into your eye and irritating the delicate mucous membranes there (i.e. glitter can scratch the cornea). And it's at a greater risk of injury if you use it on the waterline versus the lashline.
