I've been hearing about this forever and decided to give it a try. I got the pretty 24 K gold one for 20-something, sans case. It came with an extra eyelash pad and does have quite a lovely shape. Aside from the pretty gold color, the main difference appears to be the shape of the curling device. It fits more smoothly into the eye area (and feels deliciously cool!) and seems to curl the center of the lashes more deeply than the edges.

Would you buy this product again?: It was a gift, but i would buy it!

Great for the people that always pinches the edges of their eyes. I find that with a couple of gentle pumps it curls perfectly, rather than fold your eyelashes against your eyelid! I LOVE IT!

I bought this from someone on a makeup site, thinking I would see what all the fuss was about, hearing this was THE best curler in the makeup business (aside form a couple of others)... WELL THIS IS THE BEST TOOL EVER! I'm pissed off I didn't buy this earlier coz my lashes have been ultra sexified since using this... My lashes stayed curled all day, and its a nice curl, not an ugly one (if that makes sense)... And makes me eyes *pop*... best makeup tool EVER!

Finally an eyelash curler that doesn't pinch. I bought the 24K gold one with the gold zipper case that came with an extra pad. Don't be fooled into tossing this out once you use up both pads (if you ever do) because shishedo's fit this curler. I let my MIL use mine and she was dying to get one so I bought her the same one for mothers day this year. We both use ours daily. The gun metal ones and the gold ones with the cases are showing up at the outlets now with cases for around $25. Get yourself one!
