Into the Wild - movie

wow I just loved this movie. I read the book about 8 years ago and loved it, the movie is really awesome too and the soundtrack is gorgeous, Eddie Vedder sings a lot of the tracks. The main actor and also Hal Holbrook just shine in this movie.

Anyone else seen it? What did you think?

I watched it a few weeks ago and while I enjoyed it (and the lovely music and photography), it hit a little to close to home and I ended up being kinda depressed for a good week afterwards haha. The friends I watched it with thought it was inspiring and uplifting. I didn't really get the uplifted feeling!

Great movie and really good acting from Hal Holbrook
