L'Oreal/Lancome F & F Sale in NYC *my review

I got an invitation (50-90% off Giorgio Armani, Kiehl’s, Lancôme & Shu Uemura) so I headed to the sale during my lunch break today.

My experience? Don’t think you can go on your lunch break, you need a few hours. Is it worth it? I would have to say no! Why, limited amount of items & colors, very long line to get in, even longer line to check out. I hear the prices for the fragrances (one woman told me the perfume she had in her hands goes for $150 & they had it for $50) & Lancôme skin care is good, but I was only there for the cosmetics. After standing on line to pay for so long (I really wanted that Shu Uemura lip shaped red patent vinyl bag which included a l/s, l/l & l/g for $25) I gave up and walked out.

I went next door to the Lancôme company store where with the invitation from the thing next door, you get a 40% discount. In the same location they have a L’Oreal store (I hear the prices are great) unfortunately its only for employees

(my co-worker is lucky enough to have a friend that works for the company who invites her).

Those brands never go on sale in Canada!!!
