My New Vanity

So...I have grown a bit tired of my current storage furniture. I saw this Hemnes Dressing Table at Ikea the other day and fell in love. Our bedroom furniture is basic dark wood, so this blends beautifully.

I had hoped to pick it up this weekend, but alas, life got in the way, so next weekend, it's on!!! (BTW, I hadn't been to Ikea in ages, as it was feeling kind of cheap and uninspired the last time I went. Wow, I found so many cute things this last weekend. Give it a look see).

It is *almost* big enough for everything. I will store a few things like nail polish, perfume and backups elsewhere. The dimensions are:

43 1/4" wide, 20" deep and 75" high

Can't you just see my Fafi dolls kickin' it live on that?

Nice! Have fun getting your stash all organized! I keep eyeballing all these vanities so when I have room for one of them (sadly, not until we buy our next house) I'll have an idea what to buy.

You'll have to show us pictures of it all filled up. =)

It's gorgeous! I thought about buying that, but it wouldn't fit right between my very modern other furniture. I took the Malm one instead!

The Fafi Dolls will look lovely on it!

Hmm...does this come in white? I have all the other Hemnes pieces in my bedroom but in white...Off to check IKEA...
