Can everyone tell us what kind of brand/model/price of traincase they bought and why? I'd like to get one, the MAC ones look nice, but so expensive! I've also seen some at Sephora, but they look pretty small...

I have a sephora traincase, the largest size. I never use it. Organizing with drawers and acrylic containers is much more user-friendly for me. I think traincases are fun but impractical, unless you are an MA and have to tote your stuff around all the time.

I use the large silver Sephora traincase. I love it, because it's padded and my makeup stays safe when I have to lug it around. I'm thinking of getting the black midnight traincase, but I <3 the large one so much I don't know if I'll use the other one as much.

When I'm not carrying it around to appointments, I use it as storage for my NARs stuff.

My pro case is from makeupkits.com. They have a big collection and if you don't like your case upon arrival, just send it back and they'll be happy to exchange it for you. I've had great luck with them and send them a lot of my clients and fellow artists. And their prices are extremely competitive.

I have the large Caboodles silver traincase from Walmart. I paid about $40 canadian for it and I love it. It travels great and locks to keep my son out of it.

I bought mine off Ebay. It is identical to the Sephora Metro traincase (but I paid a heck of a lot less)!

i outgrew my traincase, now im using a big tacklebox, im about to outgrow that, so im going to a HUGE traincase on wheels. )

I got mine from Backstage in Amsterdam, it's a store for make-up artists and make-up for theater.

It's the Inline Pro case. I paid 119$ for it and it had free shipping. The case holds a ton of makeup and it has wheels on it too. My case right now weighs about 70lbs with all the crap I have in it so I'm greatful for those wheels.

I have the largest metal Caboodles from Wal-Mart, same as Shawna. $40 Cdn.

i thought about going to sears and getting one of those red craftsman tool boxes too! i was looking at them the other day while my dad was visiting and shopping for a pressure washer , it looks like a good plan to me.

I got my case from Ulta.. I will take a pic later of my stash. It is just a Caboodles case though, but unlike the ones at Wal-Mart or other dept. stores, it isn't silver.

A few years ago, during one of Sephora's annual sales, I got the big, black train case. It's huge and looks just like all the $85 ones they have out now, but for some reason, it was on clearance. It's really unweildy, IMO. I'd rather have a bunch of smaller ones. Check your local drugstore - they have some nice, not cheesy-looking smaller traincases there.

i have the same thing but my NARS collection resides in that. i have that 55$ mac leatherette case that houses my MAC stuff

Believe it or not. I got a massive case from eBay, its got leopard print on it. Removable/configurable upper/lower dividers. Spacious, measures 14.5"x10"x9".
I love it and it wasn't expensive.. there is a few on there now which are like mine..
