i'm just going to buy a tackle box. i bought a new train case from ULTA today by Caboodles and it's a piece of crap. I think I'll organize better in a tackle box, plus I really like lots of compartments. I'll just decorate it with stickers and such. I like this one and it's cheaper than my piece of crap new one. Taking it back tomorrow =/

I got this one for Xmas: http://www.sephora.com/browse/produc...dPaginate=true It's the sephora metro traincase. I love it because the dividers are adjustable. My puppy likes to eat makeup so I keep it all locked in here

Does the Sephora Midnight Studio traincase have the same measurements than the MAC traincase?

I got the bobbi brown chocolate faux-croc case. $45 on ebay. I and use the small plastic storage drawers from target. And I bought some really cool looking metal pencil holders from staples for my pencils and brushes.

I have the black Sephora traincase. It's the one with only one side, not two...so it kinda leans heh. I'll be moving onto a bigger one soon

I too have a Sephora Midnight Train Case, as well as a large dual sided 3-Tiered case on wheels from Yazmo and then another which I purchased at a deal off of eBay which was quite similar to the Sephora case, but with a plastic interior. The Sephora Midnight case has to have my favorite interior (it is entirely padded) so I put my delicate items in there. With the other train cases that aren't lined, I like to use the (squishy) kitchen drawer liner and cut it to fit into each section.

I don't get how people use the tackle boxes! The compartmenmts are so narrow and low. I went out and bought the tacklebox mentioned above, but I mostly have eyeshadows in pots, quads, MSF's, and blushes, so I have to return it Not enough of my stuff fit in it (though if you are a lippies fan, it would be ideal).

I just spent $75 cdn on a large black traincase from Yazmo on ebay (including shipping). It's actually bigger than the sephora one by a few inches, and cheaper for me. Bit of buyers remorse now, but I really need a nice makeup case, I travel a LOT.

I actually just bought one from Sephora. I picked the pink faux leather one and love it! It has a nice weight to it too. The only downside is that it does not fit my MAC Blush and 15 Palette in it because of the way the compartments are. I wish they had made on long one and 2 smaller ones instead of 3 medium ones. I still love it though and it looks so cute on my dresser!

My stuff is in a ton of random bags right now:

My lipgloss and lipstick is in my Caboodles big plastic case I got at Hills (a Walmart equivalent) in 1996.

My lipbalms are in a medium-sized lavender purse.

My eye stuff is in a French manicure bag.

My face stuff (foundation, powder, blush) is in my Old Navy small makeup bag that matches the pyjama pants I have (blue with puppies on it).

My pigment samples, powder samples, glitters and palettes are in a white Caboodles-like case that's really flat and nothing else fits in there.

I have three pieces of stage makeup I keep in a tiny pink crocheted bag.

My nailpolish is in a McDonald's Halloween tub.

And my nail stuff is in a Revlon makeup bag.

LOL I need a large traincase or three for all the makeup and nail stuff I have.
