Australia Releases?
Does anyone know how far behind the US is Australia when getting the new collections?
Does anyone also know the release dates for culturebloom, sweetiecake and ultracheek in Australia?
Hmmm, I haven't done enough shopping at the MAC counter, nor enough bugging of the MA's LOL!

I'm not sure about the other but one of the girls from Vogue forum has emailed Mac and apparently Sweetie cake will be out in September cause they have decided to release it here. Still a while to go

Yeah I know. Lets hope they see how much we want it and bring forward the date. I think I will be ordering through the states when it comes out there as I will have no patience.

Australia is usually anything from two weeks behind for the major collections (Icon) and up to six months behind on minor collections due to summer/winter differences. For some reason, even though Australia is considered to be in Asia as far as Estee Lauder and international businesses are concerned, we don't get access to any of the Asia only lines. Laaaaaaaame.
Just a warning, any US summer promotion is unlikely to be launched here because of said summer/winter. I really wanted C-Squeeze when it came out but was flatly told that they weren't going to launch an American summer line into Australia during winter, and then not at all.
Ring up Estee Lauder and apply pressure for new product in a timely fashion.

I was the Voguette who emailed MAC about Sweetie Cake. Yup - my reply was to expecit it in Aus on the 11th September. I guess that ties in with our end of year formals etc though.

On the bright side, it's better than NOT getting Sweetie Cake at all! now we'll be able to see it in person!

I'm so glad they're spacing out the big releases. I'm eyeing off a few Lure items, and will trade my non-existent firstborn for Sweetie Cake. So I'm glad they're a few months apart.
And at least by having Sweetie Cake released so far behind the rest of the world, it means we can watch as Spektra goes crazy over it, warns us of the shocking products, whips us into a stir over the top products, so that by the time we get it we'll know exactly what to do with it, and then some.

That is very true Sublime. I will only be getting the quad and few glitter liners from the us. The rest I would love to get but I will see what other say about it first.

Sundressing Colour will be out on the 22nd at department store counters. Allow one or two days on either side to allow for the whims of stock managers - Bondi always seems to put stock out early, Pitt St can drag their heels for up to three days. YMMV.
The status of the Summerwear quad is still debatable, I've heard different things from different people as to how it will be released, if at all. I'm looking forward to it, but I'm not pinning my hopes on it.

Oh no I am hoping that it's there. My closest counter is Parramatta so if it's not there I will have to get it off ebay. I have decided to take the plunge and get a full size pigment. I have the samples of the sundressing one and will probably get softwash grey. So pretty.

Just a heads up - I went to Bourke St Myer today and Sundressing is out (including the Summerwear quad), as well as Sundressing Body and the Liquidlast Liners.

Awesome! I might check that quad out, even though there was only one colour I really liked.
