MAC in Paris?

Hi there. First post, but some of you may know me as geekyglamgrrl on LJ. Anyway, I have a friend who is going to Paris in a couple of weeks and said she'd go MAC shopping for me. Are there any products that are Europe/Paris exclusive that I should have her look for? She's not a MAC fiend like me so she wouldn't know just buy looking. Are there any stores that are better than the others? I've looked up the addresses on the website.

this is what I found w/ the storelocator on the mac site. One of these is a pro store, butI don't know which one. the pro store is the best, because it's the biggest,a nd has exclusive stuff you cannot find in a normal mac store

Thanks for that. I had looked those up but was just wondering if anyone had been to any in particular and what the exclusives might be. If it's the same as American exclusives, I will just wait and hit a pro store in the U.S. instead of sending her on a goose chase. 8)

MAC internationally is more expensive than in North America - at least that's what I found with the UK and London. They also release things later by about a month or two.

If she's shopping, I do recommend the Samaritaine department store as well as the Galeries Lafayette. Shopping in Paris is SO awesome...

There's also a huge Sephora on the Champs Elysées Blvd

Just FYI: the Samaritaine had to close in June 2005 since it did not pass a fire security test, so that no one goes there wondering why you can't get in...
