On my NC20 more to cool tone skin, Play around Pink CF powder gives me just a hint of pink with one swipe but it can definately be pack up for more color. Plus, it gives a much more natural look comparing to eg. Sweetness bp, Dont be Shy.
And it isn't a pure pink like Sweetness, Play Around Pink combines several colors together with subtle shimmers eg. peach and pink. After application, it looks like that the pink flush is coming out from within the skin & no buffing is needed (I used MAC blusher brush SE).
It also makes my skin looks fairer and cleaner & it lasts all day. Hope it helps

Re: MAC - Colour Forms Discussion
Does Merrily look similar to smoke signal blush called "Ablaze - Coral rose (frost) (LE)"? I am getting the point I have so much mac I don't want to have similar colors.

Re: MAC - Colour Forms Discussion
Is it the 18th yet? I want my warm lips palette!
Sprout-Gilded Green is a really nice shade. It's one of the three items I preordered and if you do a lot of green or blue looks, I recommend it. It is nice and muted so that you can use it with neutral looks, but it's still green so if you are getting the Fresh Green Mix MES duo, you will want this.

Re: MAC - Colour Forms Discussion
The one item that is kind of luring me into this collection is the warm lip palette. I missed Flash of Flesh and Oh Garnet looks like it would make for a very pretty fall lip.

Re: MAC - Colour Forms Discussion
I finally went to Nordstrom to look at this collection and I was totally underwhelmed. I just don't see anything in this collection that it too different from anything I already have. I am happy because this gives me more money for Sonic Chic and Electroflash. I am hoping that I see some of this stuff at the CCO later on but I feel good about passing on it all now.

So she put me through to the MAC gal working that day & she ended up being the gal that always helps me...so she's the one that worked it out for me.
No, I said Back to MAC & then said B2M Plus, not to know what is in the entire collection that is coming out...because it's close to the launch & on the Nordies website...so its not like it was something months down the road
I felt like you...there are plenty of people that would love to work for MAC, so if you don't want to take the time to be in the know about whats going on...quit & let someone who is really into it work.
Since you said it was busy, be aware that the artist could have been a freelancer. Freelancers are not trained and are only educated on minor MAC details. Yes we are told about Back 2 MAC and Viva Glam, etc, but not in alot of depth. When we are hired, we are just thrown onto the floor. So many do not know much about the Back 2 MAC program, Viva Glam/MAC Aids Fund, and definitely have little knowledge of past/current/and coming collections. Not to defend her really, but this may have been the case and I hope that she learns more about MAC ASAp!
And I CANT WAIT FOR COLOUR FORMS!

Susanne I think you will like it too, since we share similar taste eg. Mercurial, Ether, MES *you know*. But Play around Pink might not be that special to buy when you swatch on the hand but when apply on cheeks, you will love it.

I'm seeing people talking about July 11. Is still the 18th or the 11th?

Thanks for the details.
No, the MAC lady that didn't get the B2M is not a freelance artist & she's been there for awhile. But thats a small thing...it just surprised me.
The lady that was rude to me was not a MAC employee at all, she was Nordies Cosmetics manager. I'm assuming she is Nordies head over all the cosmetics dept. She called me back per my request after being told I could not do a preorder.
I have a really great relationship with the MAC artists at that particular store. I'm still not sure why they had so much confusion about the preorder.
