Re: Naughty Nauticals Discussion
I've gotta say, Naughty Nauticals is one of my favorite MAC Collections ever. It is like a summer time version of "Blue Storm" which is another of my faves. I ordered my stuff without trying it first hoping that it would all look gorgeous and it looks beyond gorgeous. I want to do a little review on the things I purchased so here goes!! >_< NW45 for reference.

Mutiny pigment is just so pretty. To me it looks like the sun shining on top of the ocean It's the kind of blue that makes me think of drifting along in a sail boat hehe.

Bell Bottom Blue is a cross between Naval Blue + Blue Storm I think. It's really pretty and looks amazing over Blackground/Delft and Rollickin.

Submarine is just the most perfectly beautiful blue in my e/s collection. I love this colour so much! I have heaps of blue shadows and I was reluctant to get this because of that...but I'm so glad I did. It's like a deep sea blue but it's not too deep - its jussst right!

Meet the Fleet is such a great crease colour for me and it blends so easily. I was afraid it would be one of those colours that looks pretty in the pot but just goes on looking black but that was not the case. It is a deep aubergine colour on me. It would be so beautiful in a blue smoky eye look.

Love Knot lustreglass is just out of this world! It's a pinky, purpley, bluey shiney colour. It's definitely worth trying on if you have overlooked it so far. It gives your lips a really awesome 3D effect because of the duochrome and it's really easy to apply. It looks so great with Dazzlegass on top!

Illegal Cargo reminds me of Neutral Pink heaps but it's more like a mauvey version. Think Neutral Purple/Lilac. I know I will get a lot of wear out of it.

Buoy O Buoy
is the perfect nude on me! I like it better than 4N and I love the sexy way it makes my lips look.

Naughty Nautical Nail Lacquer is absolutely beautiful. It reminds me of the Chanel one that came out for spring. I applied it at night time and it looked almost black and I was a bit disappointed but the next day upon seeing it in daylight I had to do a double take at my nails haha. The colour is just amazingly blue... I applied 2 coats but you can get away with 1 without it looking thin and faded.

Port Red Lipstick
- I went back and got this today with some more MAC empties I had stashed away. It was the very last one at the counter and this collection was only released a few days ago so I was lucky . I've never owned a red lipstick and never thought I would. This colour has blown my mind. It is almost too beautiful! I love the hints of golden orange in it.

Yarrrrr, that be all :P

Re: Naughty Nauticals Discussion
I been at the mac counter today and everything was still there except mutiny, port red, and illegal cargo. And I noticed the canadian price of pigment is now $23.50 CDN and not $26.50 CND anymore. yay!

Re: Naughty Nauticals Discussion
i checked back on the naughty nautical stuff when i went to get stuff from the new collections. everything was still in stock besides mutiny & bell bottom blue pigments. which i was not expecting since everyone said that pigments are the last to sell out. i'm glad i got my bell bottom blue when i had the choice (fab color btw).

one this occasion i decided to pick up port red. omg. love it. i've been anti-red l/s for as long as i remember, but port red is beyond gorgeous. lovely shade of shimmery red. looks great w/ or w/out lipgloss. totally wearable any time of the day. i wore this out into to the mall (after leaving the store) and got a lot of attention/advances from guys (too bad i'm already taken). a definite keeper.

Re: Naughty Nauticals Discussion
When I went to get my Neo Sci-Fi yesterday it looked like they fully restocked on Naughty Nauticals-they had all the lippies, all the Lustreglass, all the pigments, and so forth. I love Port Red to death but if anything, it's more man-repellent for me. (we can't win them all)

Re: Naughty Nauticals Discussion
At first I thought this collection was kind of boring, but it has grown on me. I have been getting it in dribs and drabs. Ended up getting Smooth Blue, Shore Leave and Shirelle.
And Port Red, what can I say...I'm in love!!!

Re: Naughty Nauticals Discussion
I think this collection is beautiful. I wore Mutiny with Blue Storm in my crease and Smut in my outer v, and this lady eyes nearly bugged out of her head when I got on the elevator today. I know my makeup is always tasteful because I have heard it a lot, so it wasn't jacked up and I was feeling negative about Mutiny on NC45-NC50 34 yr old skin, but I will not let this woman deter me.

Rock the boat, Mutiny, Rock the boat!

Re: Naughty Nauticals Discussion
I adore Mutiny so much! I used Mutiny with mixing medium on the inner half of my lids, with Blue Storm e/s on my outer half. And Black Tied above my crease (stupid Asian eyes, lol) and in the very outercorner. Tightline with fluidline, and I had such hot eyes! Compliments all night. Made me happy.
