Re: Neo Sci-fi, Solar Field, And Future Earth
So, I was washing my face and decided to use my wonderful VAE, and my little brother walked in and said, "What the heck?! What's on your face? You look funny, weirdo" (he's 8 btw) then he reads the bottle then says "OMG that's so cool! Volcanic ash!" Then he runs to my sister who is 10 and says "She has volcanic ash on her face! Isn't it cool?!"
I was laughing, he was so amazed. I just wanted to say, "Yeah I know it's very cool!" but I didn't want volcanic ash in my mouth. hahah

Re: Neo Sci-fi, Solar Field, And Future Earth
I got my black ore solar bits in the mail. After hearing everyone talking about how small they are and how little is in the pot, I'm impressed because I was expecting something tinier! Yay! Haha. If I hadn't read all the rants about the solar bits sizes I think I would be disappointed.
I'm going back to get bronzescape, femme fi, and maybe some glosses and other shadows tomorrow. I'm glad I waited to add it to my Cool Heat haul, because now I can use my 15% off coupon. I just hope they have a VAE left... The orange has actually grown on me after seeing all the swatches.

lol, well i asked him if he ever heard of specktra.net because that's where i heard about the vae, and he said 'oh yes!'....he also was excited to tell me he just added one rare e/s to his collection of mac e/s and he now has EVERY MAC e/s from EVER! i said 'even all the l/e rare stuff' and he's 'oh yes!'
but anyway, he said 'want something cool to share with everyone on specktra?...dazzleglass are permanent'...and i was all 'oh hell we already know that!' lol, and he shared that vae 'is staying'....i also asked about the confusion (to me) about whether paints/cream color base/shadesticks are going away. he said the mainstay shades of paints and shadesticks are staying, and that he didnt think cream color base would EVER be discontinued.

hmm. i think CCBs need to get the boot. we never sell em at my counter. the only use they have are for cheek highlights and for prepping our facecharts.
we finally got our VAE today, but they sold out within a few hours. the display didn't even make it out.

I am not surprised. I figured they might make them permanent since there is nothing like it in the permanent line and it is so popular. I just got off the phone with a friend and mentioned it. Then I saw your post. Funny.
