Hm, I'm really not feeling the Solar Bits anymore. I thought most of my money was going to go towards those but I'm not big on glitter fallout and it seems a lot of those colors are pretty dupable with wet pigments.

That being said I'm pretty sure I'm set on getting Evening Aura, the blue nail polish, and I wasn't going to but since I'm saving $80 by not buying the Solar Bits I'll go for that Spaced Out blush. It looks gorgeous.

I'm interested in that volcanic ash as well but I think Ill have to see that in person first. I'm really happy that I don't want too much from this collection though 'cause lots of new pigments are coming up and I'm still eyeing all of the Cool Heat shadows since I got rid of all my shadows so I have no dupes.

I'm wondering if the Solar Bits will be able to pressed like pigments? I know that pressed pigments help eliminate fallout, so maybe that would help with the Solar Bits fallout? But are they too fine or clumpy to be pressed?

after seeing the swatch of spaced out, i think i'm gonna pass. i don't want duochrome on my cheeks and i think i'm gonna pass on the solar bits too

I got my mailer today! Nothing new, I was just happy since it's my first MAC mailer.

I am really glad this collection is right around the corner. I love the colours and the packaging is fantastic. The packaging is a great example of MAC's edge and ability to translate trend.

after looking at everything i think i am going to pass on a lot of this collection maybe only a l/s and a l/g or two. im still thinking about getting black ore but all that talk of fall out is turning me off to the idea of getting it. The shadows are pretty dupable the only one that kind of catches my interest is Evening Aura. I want to save for all the new pigments, shadows and other products that will be coming out later this year.

God, I agree. I can honestly see myself purchasing this entire collection. I love the orange packaging and the colors are SO perfect and usable. I will be tubing on a river in one month with the hot sun beating down, and a cold beer in my hand and that bright orange l/s is going to look H.O.T. on me. Praise Jeebus I get paid on the day it comes out.

Ok, so i called 2 diff stores to figure out release dates where I am.

My regular f/s told me the 29th, but that nordies is releasing on the 21st.
My pro store told me official date is 29th but that they are releasing on 21st (as always a week early)

This is in NY btw. Looks like im making a trip to mac next week :-D
