After looking at those pics and prices, I don't think I want a lip palette anymore. Although that pearlizer and brush duo is tempting - how I can I not resist a mini kabuki brush? That, plus the lipglass and the paint pots have definitely caught my attention.

I'm still so up in there with this collection. I guess I just have to wait and see everything in person to see if I actually really like anything. :shrug: I am just not super excited or thrilled with this one. Even after seeing that tiny preview picture. Gah, I don't know.

Anyone else feel a little on the fence about Novel Twist?

im still really excited! hahaha but after seeing the picture, im gonna pass on the eye palette and lip palettes, not that interesting to me..im gonna get both brush sets, both pearlizers, both blushes and both beauty powders. (i think) hahaha

Same here.. I want both brush sets and I kind of wanted the warm eyeshadow palette but after seeing the picture I'm not too interested in it. Maybe it'll be better in person? But overall I'm not too "wow" about Novel Twist.

i think the only thing that i like from that picture is the cosmetics bags, the makeup is alright but i am looking forward to flashtronic and rushmetal.

i'm getting both brush sets, softdew b/p, maybe a blush, and some lipglosses. this haul is gonna be expensive! do the b/p cases and blush cases have the same design as the bags? i think i can tell the blushes do.

I was looking up past collections with pearlizers in the color stories tab when I happen to see the following in Belle Azure section:

Quiver - bronze shimmer
Hundred Degrees - pink shimmer

But then I see a different description in this thread:

charismaticlime, i think the Belle Azur description is the correct one cuz theres this swatch on the MAC product gallery website & it shows that hundred degrees is pink and quiver is gold/bronze =)

I was starting to think that too, especially since AVIVA-Berlin describes Hundred Degrees as a "radiant pink shimmer" and Quiver a "rich peachy-bronze shimmer". I guess I'll opt for Hundred Degrees pearlizer once it hits stores (it almost reminds me of Porcelain Pink).

I only want 2 paint pots and the pink blush from this one. Most of my money will go to Flashtronic since I only want 1-2 pigments from Rushmetal. Thank goodness my birthday is in the middle of July!!

i'm soooooo bad - i just pre-ordered by telephone both the Pro and Basic brush sets and the cool pealizer + mini kabuki brush.....i just promised the fiance that the Barbie Beauty Powder he ordered for me at 1am was the last purchase i wanted (we're saving for the wedding).

specktra is such a bad thing for my pocketbook - but i'm going to my new brushes!!!

the MA explained to me that the brushes are good (i was told by MAs in the past that they aren't as good quality as the full size brushes) - she said they are made with the same hairs, but machine made instead of handmade like the full size ones.

i can't wait to pick these up from Nordies on July 23!! :cartwheel:
