neutralzone - caramel with gold pearl

Smoking Eyes
next to nothing - cream white with pink pearl (frst)
smoking - black with gold pearl (vlvt) ( Isn't this Suspicion?)
showstopper - muted grey (matte)
satin taupe

brew - cream beige (lstre)
barely lit - pink sand with gold pearl (luistre)

mystery - black with green and teal pearl

Rainy Day - metallic gunmetal grey with lilac pearl

cumulus - cream grey with silver pearl (frst)
cloudburst - black with blue pearl (vlvt)

i can't wait for august to come, one more month to go!!! i'll be buying a lot from paint pots (artifact, greenstroke, constructivist, delft, indianwood) and smoke signals (both quads, l/s, l/g, maroon pigment) for sure! what are kohl powers? are those in pencil form?
and all blue storm e/s sounds beautiful!

I don't know why but I'm getting kind of immune to MAC releasing a million collections a year. For this year so far, only Barbie Loves MAC and Slimshine rock my boat. Descriptions do nothing much for me too, they sometimes turn out so different from the real thing. JMHO anyway.

Wait, I'm confused. In your post of Alexander McQueen For MAC, it's written that the Kohl Power named Black Karat is described as "black with gold pearl", but here under the Smoke Signals section, there is also another Kohl Power called Orpheus, which is also described as "black with gold pearl". What's the diff between the two?

Seriously. I keep seeing people saying they're SO TOTALLY LEMMING THE KOHL POWERS!! But clearly no one has any idea what they are :P WTF.

maybe the kohl power = kohl + powerpoint?

If what you say is correct, then my list is cut in half. I was actually hoping the Kohl Powers would turn out to look like Guerlain's Terracotta Loose Powder Kohl Liner, not another pencil/automatic eyeliner.

I guess we always want what we can't have. Besides, just like all of these other products, listen to the decriptions for kohl powers:

Feline: Rich black
Mystery: Black with green and teal pearl
Raven: Black with red pearl
Black Karat: Black with gold pearl
Jealous: Black with green pearl

Like a good restaurant menu, it entices you. You haven't seen the dish, but it sounds good, so you order it.

I guess there is also the fact that, speaking for myself at least, MAC has a pretty low let-down factor. They generally do me right, so I give them the benefit of the doubt.

I am lemming so much stuff from descriptions alone! Its a PITA having to wait for collections and watching all the fab FOTD but at least I get to see swatches before its all released here!!!!

I'd guess the kohl powder will be of the loose variety, rather than in pencil form. Pencil form would be kinda pointless IMHO.

After reading the descriptions, I'm actually surprised to find that there's at least one item from each collection that I really want to buy (and this is coming from someone who only bought two items each from the Barbie Loves MAC and Slimshine collection).
