I can see why someone would say that. This is a very fine and rather flexible brush, so it's definitely a question of personal preference. I have a dreadfully shaky hand for liquid/gel lining for some reason, and I cannot line the upper lashline with any precision with a brush like the #212 or the #266 to save my life. The #210 is very forgiving for people like me who are unsteady and don't want a really thick line. It lays down color easily and evenly.
I have a similar Sephora brush that has even fewer fibers that are a bit longer and more flexible, and that one I think is too floppy for Fluidlines (I use it for mixing glitter with Eyeliner Mixing Medium), but the #210 is just right.
