Blending face products

It can give a soft polished look.

I want this blush just because it looks cute but I thought it's only good with powder foundation. is there any other use for it?

You bet mama!

It can remove excess powder of any kind....blush, face powder etc...

It blends blush like a dream!

I even use it to blend my bronzer and cream blush.

You can use it blend all kinds of foundation. I've used it w/liquid plenty of time.

Heck I even swept it over my e/s before.

I use the 180 for liquid foundation, mineralized skinfinishes (alot of people use the 187, but what's the point of having 2 buffer brushes?), and powder. I used to use it with blush before I bought the 129. It's a great brush, and so tiny.

to be honest this is one brush i use everytime i do my makeup, i apply my foundation with the 190 then buff that , then i do studio fix with the 136 then i buff that in. It gives an airbrushed look, not only is the polished airbrush look cool but it (liek said above) removes excess product so you wont have a pancake face. When i over apply my blush i buff out some color and it works perfectly, i also use this brush for the body and neck.

I apply my MAC foundation and concealer with another brush. Then I grab the 180 brush and buff it all out until it is smooth and even. It is awesome!

I've been using mineral foundation for about 5 years now, and have tried many brushes. The 180 is by far the absolute best brush I've ever used for this purpose. I got mine at my CCO for $28, and just bought a back up there yesterday. I'm scared to death that the day my original 180 dies that I'll discover MAC discontinued it and I'll never have another, hence the brush back up. Besides, this is the first time in months another has shown up at the CCO, and you can't beat the price.

I love this brush! I was hesitant at first b/c I didn't know how useful it would be and for the money I wasn't sure I needed it. Well, I broke down one day and bought it and can I just say how awesome this brush it!! I use it everytime I do my makeup! Whether I'm using mineral foundation or liquid when I'm all done with my makeup I take the 180 and just buff it in circular motions all over my face and voila! completely flawless!! It's just amazing! and as Nessa said, if you get some eyeshadow on your cheekbone this'll just buff it right off!! I love this brush!!!

So this means it'd be good for, say, if you applied too much of a pigmented powder blush and you wanted to soften the look a little? I'm looking for a good buffing brush for this exact purpose, and perhaps I'm just dumb and haven't quite mastered using my #187 but it's still not quite right for my gorgeous NARS pigmented blushes.

I rather prefer to put too much on and dust the excess off, seems to look better on me than gradually applying blush till desired effect (a la #187).

It's funny that you mentioned using the 187 for NARS blushes. I have been using my flirt brush and with that I just touch the blush with the brush and then apply. I am scared to use the 187 cuz I know it would be too much. I have Taos and Taj Majal which are both pretty vibrant colors so I have to be very careful.

Opinions are mixed. I personally find that the bristles don't have enough flex to really polish up product, and they can make blood rise to the skin very quickly.

For buffing and polishing, I swing between the 187 for light day wear and the 182 for night/bridal.
