Okay, I KNOW everyone is going to kill me on this one, BUT....I have it and I think it was a huge waste of money. I don't know if I am not using it right or what, but I hate it. And for the price...I could shoot myself! However, I do realize that I am in the minority here and have not heard anyone else say they don't like it. The huge raves on it are actually what convinced me to buy it. I would just recommend that if you have a friend who has one and is willing to let you try it, I would try it first. Or ask a MAC MA to show you application with it. I originally purchased it with the skinfinishes because I heard that it was "the" brush to use with them. In all honesty, I have not found it to do anything that any of my other bronzer/blush/powder brushes couldn't do....but that's just my opinion and you know what they say about those...

I just got mine last week and I love it. Especially with my MSF... They make it look like the product has just kinda melted on really prettily I guess "melt" isn't the best word to describe it, lol. Anyways, I couldn't get Stereo Rose to look as pretty before.

Yeah, I think it would be worthwhile to check out it first if you can to make sure it's something you like & will use since it's pricey. But you already know that! While I do like this brush & use it quite a bit, I don't consider it a must-have. I use it to apply bronzer and my highly pigmented blushes. It gives just the right application to keep me from looking overdone. However, it doesn't do diddly for my not-as-super-pigmented blushes. I'm thinking of my Blush Delices, BB Tawny, Milani blushes, & medium-tone MAC Sheertones here. I have to use a regular blush brush for those to show up.
I do think this one's nicer quality than other skunk brushes I checked out though (Lancome, CVS Essence of Beauty). It's a fuller brush & picks up product better.

YES!!! finally somebody that feels the same way I do about this brush. It doesn't do anything for me neither. I find I use a regular blush brush way more than I do the 187. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one.

Ok.. well i'm here to tell you that I LOVE IT! It applies lightly, never to much - unless you keep putting product on its great for loose powders, blushes, MSF ... even foundation!! I think its a great purchase... but thats my opinion ( as we all have them.. ) I guess you will have to see if it works for you ... :P Good Luck.. let us know what you think about it if you get it!

I love mines as well!
It's just pefect for anything powdery! I use it for everything!
First I apply my powder with it, then I dip it in m MSF and then I add some Pearlizer with and it just looks likea hint of glow!

I really really love this brush for my really dark or bright blushes since I am super pale, like Nars' Moumia or MAC's Fleur Power. I usually use the 168 for blushes because I like that it picks up a lot of color, but were I to use it with Fleur Power, I would look like a clown! When I use the 187, it looks very natural.

This is by far one of my favorite brushes. It does apply blush like a dream for me, it's very natural after one application or you can build it up for a more intense application. It washes well, and doesn't shed on me either so I think it will last a long time.
