I love mine - it gives a very light aplication that can be built up with skinfinishes and blushes. I'm a NC15, and I don't think I could wear Stereo Rose or many blushes without this brush. The brush is also very soft, and buffs the skinfinishes more than a powder blush, IMO.

Has there ever been a 187 brush in the travel size in any of the brush sets? I love my regular 187 brush and I use it everyday but I think it would be a little large to carry around.

I agree that this is the perfect brush for the MSF. It just gives the best light application.

I swapped mine away...it's pretty to look at but my regular Bare Escentuals brushes do the job much better for me. I used it for the MSF's and got like no pigment at all from it. And it shed really bad. But I know I'm in the minority here too. The only thing I liked it for was for really pigmented blushes but if the blushes were too dark to begin with why buy a $40-some doller brush when the problem is they're just not right for my skin? So I swapped the blushes and the brush!

Red face
I love my 187 blush, I usually use it for very pigmented blushes or MSF!
Stupid question, but how do you use it for foundation? I never even thought of that!

well I have one for foundation and one for powder products...

i will put some Hyperreal on the back of my hand and lightly tap the bristles on my hand and then swirl it on my face starting on my forehead and work downwards....

For my moistureblend, i just lightly tap it into the compact and do the same swirl motion. i actually prefer the application to my foundation brush...

For creme foundation, you can use it just like forevertorifan does...put some foundation on the back of your hand and swirl the brush all over your skin. For liquid, put foundation directly on your face, then swirl the 187 all over as well.

Honestly, I have never used this brush for anything other than foundation...my fellow MAs at the counter taught me that trick. When the 187 was released with the MSFs, I still didn't use the 187 for those, just for foundation.

My MA just recommended the 207 duster brush for MSF application:
http://www.maccosmetics.com/template..._ID=PROD1 526
I tried it today and I'm not sure I like it more than my regular old blush brush.

I love mine! I use it to smooth out my Studio Fix after I've used the sponge. It makes everything lay very nicely on the skin, like it was airbrushed. I think it's worth the $ ( or should I say $$$$)!
