Re: 187 brush
I don't think it's worth the price. It's a nice brush, I use mine everyday but when I got it I was a bit disapointed after hearing all the rave reviews. I love my 182 so much more!

The #187 brush, is by far the best MAC foundation brush. It can be used with any if the founadtion. When applied in a circular motion, it buffs the foundation in to the skin as opposed to just masking a layer of foundation on your face. So the end result is a more blend, skin like look.

I use it on every one of my customers, and the first thing that everyone comments on is the way that it feels.

I this brush.

Re: 187 brush
Hello girls, go easy on me; I'm a newbie!

I've had very reliable advice that you know what you're talking about when it comes to Mac brushes, and in particular can spot a mile at fifty paces.

I, like the girl who started this thread, am desperate for one of these babies, but have been scouring eBay for cheaper prices.

Now, I'm suspicious at the low price of this one; what do you think?! I don't want a fake...

Thanks in advance!

Re: 187 brush
I suggest buying it in the Novel Twist collection @ nordstrom. You get 5 brushes for about $50

Re: 187 brush
I know that Sephora sells a brush similar to MAC's 187. Has anyone tried this one?

Re: 187 brush
I definitely think this brush is worth the money. I tried the Flirt brush from Kohl's a while ago. The quality was nice, but it was too small for me. I splurged on the 187 because I've never been able to get my blush look right. Since I've been using this brush, my blush has looked perfect! I can actually wear my Dollymix without looking ridiculous. I also realized how much fuller the 187 is compared to the Flirt brush. But hey, you can't go wrong with $6, so if the Flirt brush is big enough for what you want it to do, get that one.

Re: 187 brush
Awesome blush! However, I think this is more useful for pigmented blushes so that they don't go on so dark. If you have mostly light-colored blushes, the 187 is not a necessity IMO

I was actually looking into that Sephora brush today, and most of the reviews I've read have been in favor of the 187. Apparently, though the Sephora stipling brush is cheaper, the craftmanship that the 187 provides has Sephora's brush faded.

Re: 187 brush
I love the 187 for blush application. For very pigmented blushes (e.g. Milani Mango Tango), it applies just the right amount. I don't like using it with my foundation just because I wear mineral makeup on a daily basis, and if I'm wearing liquid foundation for a special occasion, I like using the foundation brush to get a heavier coverage.

As for dupes, I've tried many, and none has been comparable to MAC's. It's expensive, but definitely worth it!

My 187 brush is my secret weapon.

[The price is equivalent to an eighth of fine dank.]

Yes..it is worth the money. Everyone should own one.

I felt that brush at the store and it feels AWFUL. It should be only $5.

I love the 187! It is like a godsend. I use it for foundation, powder, blush, and MSF. It is my all in one face brush. Couldnt live without it
