Haha...I'm an eyebrow FANATIC!!! They frame your face, you gotta take care of them!!
Anyhow, I get mine waxed once every 2-3 months. I have an awesome gal that gives my brows the defined arch that I like. I can't stand "rainbow brows!"
I maintain the in-between visits by tweezing. Once my brows start to lose their shape, then I'll grow them back out for about 10 days, then get them waxed again.
I also periodically comb all my brow hairs straight up & trim off everything that is longer than the brows.
To give them even more definition, I just use a matte e/s that matches my haircolor at the time, and a firm, slanted brush.
When choosing the right shade of e/s for your brows, choose one that looks about 1 shade lighter in the pan. Once the e/s mixes with your natural brows, it looks darker.
For example: I have jet black hair, so I use Stila Ebony- which is a "soft black."
Here's a pic of my brows:

Theres a couple of strays on one side that I missed when I brushed them. Ah well....they can't behave all the time!

I am still growing my brows back out after being butchered. :| I use Down Brown shadow and clear brow set to hide the hideousness.

I'm in the same boat! Back in the day in 7th grade I took my Audrey Hepburn brows to pencil thin. I'm a Freshman in college and they are FINALLY looking like they did way back when. My secret is using Rogaine on them. That has REALLY helped. I thought for sure (as did everyone else!) that they'd never be the same, but they look great again!

Pnkcosmo, you are blessed with gorgeous brows like my little sis, i on the ohter hand have sparse eyebrows so it's really hard to get them cleaned up, without butchering them, since they grow out the same sparseness. When i do get them finished, which i tweeze, i feel like i just accomplished something spectacular....lol

Actually, I was blessed with scary, bushy eyebrows!! I guess it gives me more to work with! LOL
Are you using a powder on your brows now?
Powder really helps to give sparse brows more definition.

Blah! My eyebrows are kinda looking thin, I'd like them to be a bit more thicker on the inner corners so the arch looks more defined. I don't have the rainbow thing though. Whewww. Hehe. That's what I get though for not being able to drive and go get my eyebrows threaded. I've been plucking them myself for a while and sometimes I get tweezer-happy. Hahaha.
If I wanna make it a bit darker, I use my CG eye & brow pencil, apply it sparingly and then brush my brows with a spoolie brush to blend it in and not make it look so harsh. Or sometimes I do it with Mystery e/s. Hope that helps!

I fill my eyebrows with Mystery e/s, and extend them a bit at the ends since they naturally just don't go out that far Lately I've actually been using MAC's dipdown fluidline to extend it, because after I apply it as eyeliner the brown color is almost gone and it's soft enough to fill in or extend my brows perfectly!

I'm brow obsessed too I've posted this pic before, but here goes..
I've got naturally sparse and shapeless brows as you can see, so I have to be very careful I don't over-tweeze. I like to draw the shape in pencil first so I can see exactly what to tweeze and what not to.
My daily brow routine involves drawing the shape with a MAC brow pencil (these really last all day), then softening it with a brush. I check for stray hairs that need tweezing (my hairs grows too fast, sneaky things). Then I finish it off with Smashbox brow tech wax to keep them in place.
One of the most common brow mistakes is the "sperm brow" where the brow is tweezed too much and doesn't taper properly towards the arch.
It inpsired me to make this diagram...

I fall victim to the sperm brow sometimes because the area right before my arch is kind of sparse and without tweezing my brows form almost a straight line.
Now I really want the stila ebony/wheat duo because I have black brows and have never known what to use on them.

Grrr, my last beautician really mangled my brows, they were uneven and I had to pluck them to death to get them looking even! Sob, my poor thick Indian eyebrows...
Next time I go to this place, I'm going to ask for a specific lady, who did a fab job on them. She even combed them to make sure they were near-perfect. Got to appreciate attention to detail.

I love Eyebrows, and giving my clients a great new eyebrow shape. I cant live without my cover girl eye and brow maker in midnight brown. I've tried everything else but keep going back to that one.
