Re: All about Eyebrows =)
I really want to use brow zings by benefit cosmetics
It includes a shadow to color and shape them and a wax to set them. The kit comes with a mini pair of tweezers, a mini angle and blending brush. Really makes for a natural eyebrow but only comes in three different colors. But When you mix the wax and the shadow together on your brush you get more color payoff! If you have perfect eyebrows, speed brow will amaze you and enhance them even more! Eyebrows frame a face, don't neglect them!

also by benefit, she lac which will smudge proof your eye make up (eyeliner, eyebrows, mascara)

I'm not trying to be a make up snob here cause lord knows this gal loves some drug store stuff, but I find just about everything Benefit makes to be completely overrated, over priced, and most of it smells like old lady. lol I do like a few random things they make like some bronzers, but I don't spend money on it. I feel like they dump most of their money and attention into their packaging.

The product that took me to the next level with brows was this little eyebrow shaping kit from Walgreens. Basically, it's just little plastic stencils. You find the one best for your eye shape and then just apply whatever product you use with it. Whatever you don't color in, pluck!

Re: All about Eyebrows =)
All I do for my brows is I get them waxed every four weeks. My brows are definitely an area I do not skimp on as they make the face. I have a little Smashbox set from a kit but honestly, I don't need it. I have very dark brows but the darkest shades in many kits just look so...naff on me. If I do have to groom them at all, I'll use a lash comb and then a 212 to get everything neat and tidy.

I'd like to comment on benefits "lemon aide" eye primer. I paid $20 and I'm not impressed at all. I guess i'm just spoiled because I absolutely love MAC's paint pots!

Same!!!

Lately, I've been using the Maybelline define-a-brow pencil lightly (wiping off as much excess as possible) and the define-a-brow gel.

Re: All about Eyebrows =)
I tried the brow zings kit in dark (I'm dark haired) and it was waaayyy too light and too waxy. Useless....

I was so not impressed. Especially after reading such good reviews.

Re: All about Eyebrows =)
I pluck my eyebrows and shape it at the same time! And if I have over plucked it, then I use a brown brow liner and fill it in! I was born with arched brows! At first I hated it but when I started to play with it to my advantage ppl complimented me on how great the shape is! I don't know! I haven't perfected it yet! Still trying!

Re: All about Eyebrows =)
I've just re shaped my brows. I grew them out for a few weeks it didn't take long because my hair grows so fast. This is what they look like now. I really like them

Rubbish picture, just took it with my webcam.

Wow Luceuk you have GORGEOUS eyebrows! I'm usually picky when it comes to those but yours are really really gorgeous. And such pretty eyes too.

Re: All about Eyebrows =)
I have really light eyebrows so I NEED to fill them in. I use Benefit's Brow Zing in Dark...works for me. I use to just fill them with a matte eyeshadow but after a long day one eyebrow is usually darker than the other

That is so sweet, innocent and hilarious at the same time In a really good way I mean, so don't be offended, you just made my day wiht this adorable comment.

But to be honest, I think some people suit the all natural brows so well!

Re: All about Eyebrows =)
I am currently using Benefits Brow Zings, I'm not keen on it but it was kinda expensive and I don't want to throw away £21. The little brushes it comes with are junk, I find it much easier to apply with a regular sized angle brush. The tweezers are also useless. Using a wax and a powder is, in my opinion, a really good way to get defined, dramatic brows but the limited colour range Benefit provides puts me off the product. I have the medium shade, it's too brown (if that makes sense) and there are hints of red in it. I prefer an ashy, neutral shade.

A product I LOVE but just cannot easily get hold of in the UK is the Shu Uemura H9 Formula Eyebrow Pencil. I know a lot of people hate it because it is very hard and getting any colour payoff is difficult, but that's what I love about it. It's very hard to over do your brows with this pencil, you don't get that shiny, waxy look that can sometimes be a problem with soft pencils. I used the colour Seal Brown which was a perfect match for my mousey brown brow hairs. This is really good for very natural looking brows, especially if you have bald spots as the hairs can be drawn on individually.

I once tried a brow growth accelerator by Talika called Lipcolis (I think?) which was expensive, I perservered with it until I ran out of product and found no benefit to my brow growth what so ever. A cheap alternative that I like is the Ardell version, I think it cost me about $6 (I had to order from the US).
