Re: All about Eyebrows =)
I am currently using Benefits Brow Zings, I'm not keen on it but it was kinda expensive and I don't want to throw away £21. The little brushes it comes with are junk, I find it much easier to apply with a regular sized angle brush. The tweezers are also useless. Using a wax and a powder is, in my opinion, a really good way to get defined, dramatic brows but the limited colour range Benefit provides puts me off the product. I have the medium shade, it's too brown (if that makes sense) and there are hints of red in it. I prefer an ashy, neutral shade.
A product I LOVE but just cannot easily get hold of in the UK is the Shu Uemura H9 Formula Eyebrow Pencil. I know a lot of people hate it because it is very hard and getting any colour payoff is difficult, but that's what I love about it. It's very hard to over do your brows with this pencil, you don't get that shiny, waxy look that can sometimes be a problem with soft pencils. I used the colour Seal Brown which was a perfect match for my mousey brown brow hairs. This is really good for very natural looking brows, especially if you have bald spots as the hairs can be drawn on individually.
I once tried a brow growth accelerator by Talika called Lipcolis (I think?) which was expensive, I perservered with it until I ran out of product and found no benefit to my brow growth what so ever. A cheap alternative that I like is the Ardell version, I think it cost me about $6 (I had to order from the US).
