I am a Mac newbie and you have all confused the hell out of me. I was planning to buy this but now i don't know what to do.

A) Buy it and use 1/5th in water technique everytime

B) Buy it and use 1/5th in water technique before using baby shampoo everytime.

C) Buy it and use dabbed on tissue everytime and baby shampoo as thorough clean now and again.

D) Don't buy it and use baby shampoo everytime.

Because I've had a bad experience with it I would tell you not to buy it and use the baby shampoo but I'm now wondering if I had a bad batch or something because of the comments other people have posted.

follow the instructions on the bottle. other times, i'll use shampoo and conditioner and leave it on for 5 minutes to keep the bristles soft or sometimes alchohol to sanitize.

in addition to what everyone else already said, my MAC ma told me to make sure whatever you do that the brush is completely 100%!!!!!!!!! dry after cleaning before you use it. she repeated it like 5 times before I left so Im assuming its important, lol
