Full Coverage Foundation
Which full coverage foundation do you use, or that you would rec to people who are looking for a full coverage foundation?

Ones which lasts all day, and that is full coverage without the "cakey" look.

I have only just started using Px Virtual Matte and its fantastic.

I have a lot of redness in my skin due to eczma and it covers all this without being *too cakey*.

I have combo skin and it lasts all day with no shine at all and no need for touch ups as I usually have to do with my other foundations.

I also love Stephane Marais fluid foundation but its really one of those ones that you have to be having a good skin day to wear.

I'm hooked on Stila Illuminating Foundation, both liquid and powder. Great coverage w/o being to heavy and skin simply glows.

I use GA LSF and I love it.

BUT...

did you know only 5% of all women actually need full coverage foundation?

Full coverage is typically alot, IMO. But if thats what you've been using and like it, then go for it! But if you ever want to switch to something more light, or question what coverage you need. Maybe go to a MA of a brand you like and talk to him or her about it. They usually provide LOTS of help.

i've used revlon full coverage foundation for the longest. It stays on great however, if you tend to put too much on it gets cakey..just make sure you don't put on a tons!

Bummer, I can't vote because I don't even use foundation, and though I am currently trying to find my first real one, it's not going to be full coverage. I am lucky enough to have good skin (but the trade-off I reckon is appalling mental health - it's this joke I have as self-consolation).

Lancome Teint Idol...its one of the best full coverage foundations ive tried...its long wearing and dosn't look cakey. i use it with a loose powder that has light reflection as im not a huge fan of matte finishes.
I only use this on special occassions tho...or if my skin is playing up

I just started using foundation again for the first time in 15 years (yeah, I'm getting old) Anyhow, I got Cargo oil free foundation and I love it. It is sheer, but covers up any redness and makes my skin look flawless without being cakey. I am actually off to buy a foundation brush today and I think it will be even better after that.

I really like the Stuido Tech foundation from MAC. It comes in a compact with a sponge but it's better to use the foundation brush with it instead.

I'm using Bare Minerals in Medium Beige 2.3, it is the best foundation I have ever used. EVER. I have tried a lot of name brands in the past and was never satisfied (even with MAC).

In december I bought Double Wear (Estée Lauder). I think I've used it 5 times. Not only does it make my face look like a pancake, but I can't get it off or on properly either! The colour wasn't right (much too dark and looks very unnatural) and it was expensive too. I read some raves about it on Makeupalley and the sales woman (not a makeup-artist) recommended it.
I thought applying it would be easier with a foundation brush so I bought MAC's. It's a little better, but then I have to thoroughly cleanse it after every use. Maybe I'm just a little bit to lazy....?

I challenge anyone to find a foundation with a better coverage, better feel, better end-result/look, and more versatility than Kevyn Aucoins sensual skin enhancer. I promise you it doesnt exist!
