How do you apply Paint?
I love my Stilife Paint, and the shimmery look it gives to my eyes, but i have trouble getting it even, and not smeared everywhere. Is Paint best applied with a brush or with a fingertip?

i think its best applied with the finger beacuse the heat will make it smoother.

I find it's easiest to apply with my finger. Easier to even out that way.

Best applied with the ring finger, least pressure and blending out with index or pinky ... but then I still like to go back and buff it in/sweep with either a 224 or 217.

I agree with the 242 brush. Once in a while I'll use my finger. Either way works well!

the thing with using paints from my experience is to only squeeze out a minute amount- like really small amounts at a time otherwise you'll end up smearing it everywhere!!! i use my fingers cos its just a lot more easy to control and apply that way.

The best way I've found to get it on evenly is to squeeze some out onto my hand, and then apply it with my finger. I guess being on the hand first warms it up more, so it's a bit smoother.

Because you only need the teensiest dab of product, I find it easiest to apply from the tube to my lid with a tiny brush (I use a lip brush or a gel liner brush) and then blend with a fingertip. It sets too fast for me if I try to blend with a brush, and ends up looking uneven and just.. crap. This method is also a great way to extend the life of your paint, because sometimes the most modest squeeze can result in paint squirting everywhere! :P

I'm the one oddball who uses my 239 brush. It's what my favorite MA at MAC recommended and so I use it. It works for me.

i use my 242, then use a 224 to blend out the top of it
im pretty anal about it being blended at the top
i hate it when you can see where someone's paint application ended on their lid, that harsh line makes me cringe

I actually use a concealer brush. It works wonders for me. I just dab a bit on the brush and spread it around putting more on if needed. I always get a even application with this technique. HTH!

Re: How do you apply Paint?
verry carefully! I hate it that it oozes out a bit too much if you squeeze too hard ! I usually use my fingers to blend and apply and smooth out with a brush after
