How to Repair a Broken Lipstick
Does anyone know how to repair a broken lipstick? I guess I'm a little rough on my lippies. I've broken my fav Hot Tahiti.

Other than melting the whole lot into a container?

Did you break it off right at the base? Maybe you could heat both ends (with a match or a lighter) of where it broke off a little bit (just to get it to "melt" and be a tiny bit sticky) and then try to get them to re-adhere to each other when it cools back down.

If they are warm enough, just carefully stick them back together. Then stick them in the freezer for a little while and they will stay attached.

clean all the goop out of the bottom of the lipstick. cut a clean edge on the broken end and stick it into the bottom, fridge for 24 hours and then treat it very gently. I see all sortsa gals applying huge pressure on their lipsticks - if you want it thick go over it a couple times instead of pressing down on it.

You can fix it with "surgery." We do this at the counter all the time...

(1) very carefully, break off the remaining lipstick and put it aside.

(2) Take a toothpick or the end of your thinnest brush and scoop out most (but not all) of the lipstick left inside the tube. Leave some lipstick inside to help the remaining piece stay put.

(3) pick up the piece of lipstick that you put aside and, using a tissue, press it into the bit of lipstick remaining in the tube, applying slight pressure as you push it back into the tube. You might feel it "pop" into place...that's ok.

(4) clean the tube up and viola! Repaired lipstick!

Re: How to Repair a Broken Lipstick
my very first lipstick i got was at the age of eleven and i pushed it all the way out to use it and it broke.

i was heartbroken. i put it in the freezer to "solidify" it and thought everything was ok when i took it back out.. but the water vapour just condensed on the cold lipstick when i took it out and made it worse. so if you put it in the freezer, put it back again after you use it.
