Has anybody used this?

I tried looking for a review on it... but none yet. Does anybody use this without a foundation... just the strobe cream alone? The website describes it as "iridescent"...how true is that?

Strobe cream on it's on is pretty good as a highlighter, though I find it doesn't show up very well on my skin. I prefer pout's similar product (love glow illumminator), which is definitely more irridescent than mac's product.

i use strobe cream under my foundation sometimes. if you want something luminescent, i wouldn't suggest strobe cream. out of the bottle, it looks as though it would be...but on the skin it isn't too noticable, at least for me. but i think it does help to brighten a bit.

Strobe Cream is like vitamins for your skin. It does perk up your complexion, but I wouldn't really call it "iridescent."

If you're looking for a luminizing product, try Smashbox's Artificial Light, a MAC CCB, or Mineralize Skinfinish.

I like to use strobe cream as a highlighter, because it gives a nice glow. It isn't very iridescent though. You can try Benefit's High Beam/Moonbeam if you want that kind of shimmer. Strobe cream is much more natural looking (like GA's Fliud Sheers).

I asked for a sample of strobe cream and used it for the first time in this pic... I definitely saw a difference in how my foundation looked and the camera actually picked up on it (I wore it all over, but concentrated most of it on my cheeks)... Just wanted to share my joy w/ everyone

Hi souraznhunnie! thanks for the skin complement, but it REALLY is due to the strobe cream! I used it after moisturizer and before foundation. I emailed a MAC Artist about the best way to use strobe cream and got the following response:

Q: What is the best way to use strobe cream - after moisturizer or as moisturizer, under foundation or mixed with foundation?

A: STROBE CREAM is a vitamin-loaded moisturizing cream with a subtle iridescence. It gives your skin a beautiful, radiant glow while adding essential moisture. Botanical Extracts brighten skin and improve clarity. Use Strobe Cream on top of your moisturizer - it really shouldn't replace your face lotion. If you want, you can apply it on top of your makeup instead (tap light/thin layers on with your finger tips). Apply it to your bare legs as a subtle highlight.
