fafi quad 2, I swatched it and threw it in my makeup bag never to be used again, newly minted

Ok good I'm not the only one that feels this way! I got it because it looked like it would be a really good e/s but I swear it takes sssooo much for it to show up I just don't understand. I have a easier time getting a purple/violet color combining Deep Truth and Stars & Rockets.

I may have replied to this before but I don't think so. When ever I go to the MAC counter the lovely ladies make everything sound so easy and awesome but most of the time I get it home and go "uummmmmmm what now????" So far the e/s's I wish I had waited or passed on are:

Woodwinked ~ they say it's so great with tons of stuff but it's just not me
Te-Te-A-Tint ~ Said it would be my everyday crease but NEVER use it
Haunting (McQueen Collection - can never get it to show up
Coppering - yet to really do anything with it
Shroom - everyone swears by this but honestly it does nothing for me

I just purchased Club and Satillite Dreams but am iffy on Club not sure if I'll use it that much.

Cool Heat. The actual color, I didn't get the whole collection. I love the color, but blues and I aren't the best mix (this one does look pretty good with neutrals on me, though) but I got it the first day it was out and I've hardly used it. Wish I would have waited and thought more on it.

I was just reading through this again, and it's funny how many people say the Fafi stuff. All the hype surrounding it, and now people are regretting the purchases (and I'm one of those!). I'm starting to feel the same way about my Heatherette purchases. Not that I don't like them or would get rid of them, but it's just not stuff I really use. Damn that pink packaging! LOL kidding...

Lol, I'm an impulsive buyer so there's a lot of things I wish I never bought. Some that stick out to me are:

glissade, northern lights, and light flush(I think that's the name) MSF's. I gave into the hype and ended up hating all of these.

soft sparkle liners - there are sooo many other better ones out there for cheaper.

Glitter liners - again, there's so much better for cheaper out there

Frostlite fluidline..

And Lip Erase in pale, it dry out my lips..!

Paradisco e/s, I can never get it to show up on me like I want, even when using a s/s or paint.
Belle Azure e/s-wore it only a few times, it just didn't look right on me, wound up selling it.
Blue Pigment-never wear it

***looks around*** Ok, I'll say it.. Heatherette Eye Trio 2. those colors streak and won't blend for me no matter what I do. Cassette absolutely HATES me.

Jardin Aires - It looked like plain pink glitter even with a base.
Electra - was similar to Platinum pig, which I already had.
Goldmine - hated the texture! looked really dowdy on my Southeast asian skin.

Alexander McQueen's eye paint in Otherwordly. The color just wasn't right for me.
I used it once and ended up selling it for less than the cost!

I think for me it was Blue Steel Pigment
