WOC - Which lip liners do you wear with which lipgloss/stick?

I need some new lip liners and plan to purchase Mac's Hodgepodge later today.

All I own is Chestnut which is pretty dire considering how many lipsticks and glosses I own.

I haven't got a clue what to team with what.

i.e. When wearing say C-Thru or Chai what liner do you wear with them, if any?

I wanna make my lips look more defined and wear my lipsticks a lot more as they're being neglected.

Which staple liners would you suggest I purchase? I'm open to drugstore suggestions too. I'm typically an NC50.

I would start with Chestnut, Currant, Vino, Velvetella, 80%, Plum, Nightmoth, and Beet. As for as drugstores liners, I like Black Opal. I don't wear c-thru and chai l/g they look gross on me NW45/47

These are the liners I have and the lipsticks/glasses I use them with:

Oak - w/ 4N, Revealing, Gel, 1N
Magenta - w/ Up the Amp, Girl About Town, Pink Poodle
Lure - w/ Vegas Volt, Lychee Luxe, Eager
Redd - w/ Electro, Pink Grapefruit
Cherry - w/ Russian Red
Cranberry - w/ Impassioned
Dervish - w/ Chatterbox, Angel
Subculture - w/ Pleasureseeker, Enchantress

I had bought Hodgepodge a while back but I found it a bit too dark for a nude lip on me (I'm NC40) so I exchanged it for Oak. I think Hodgepodge would look great on you w/ Chai tho.

I don't know if you'd consider my list to be staples but I like to match my liners to the lipstick/glass so they don't change their colour too much.

I wear Rimmel's Eastend Snob lipliner with almost everything.It's only like $3.00 and it's just as good if not better than most high end liners.

I use a rimmel lip liner too, it's called addiction. I use it with pinkarat lustreglass all the time.
