yes, I think you'll like StarGazer. I haven't been to Oasis since Feb 2005, so
I hope it's all still there.
Oooh...let me know? I'm PMing you

I've seen Stargazer in some places, never tried it though. I think I will need to take a good look next time I pass one of their stands

Yaay! I might be PMing you, too. (So far, I haven't PMed anyone, as I keep getting interrupted....
**Ok....if anybody's going to be passing StarGazer & has the time, please let me know?
With StarGazer, ~Dig~ ! sometimes products are
hidden buried treasure.....If you aren't into the wilder colours, you'll probably *still* find what you seek.
Don't be put off by the wildly coloured hair dyes.
Oooh....I do miss England....the Black Lacey Velvety clothes in
the charity shops, & the makeup, in general! StarGazer was my favorite m/u discovery.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Oh! Yesterday, I did my eyes a combo of StarGazer & MAC & Revlon. I am hoping to put together a FOTD. I purposely didn't use UDPP, to confirm lasting power on the StarGazer- still a bit on this AM, after 2 face washes &
a Night's Sleep
I know of the clothing shop, Oasis. The store I'm speaking of is different, not part of Oasis, gorgeous trendy clothing. This OASIS is HUGE-it has several floors, & reminds me of a warehouse. It caters to lots of different alternative styles of clothing, shoes/boots, cosmetics....piercings, etc...I don't know if it's only in Birmingham- hubby thinks so ( & he's from just outside of Birmingham, near Halesowen...) OMGoddess! I miss that place!!
If the OASIS of which I speak is not *in* London, as well, I imagine London must have at least an entire street or more dedicated to the same...probably places like Camden Market sell some of the stuff.
If you go to the Birmingham *BIG* Oasis, you can probably find *less* alternative stuff, too, if you don't mind the Music & ambience
SIGH.....I was too busy being homesick & being pregnant to *really* appreciate my England adventure.
You should come back to England sometimes so you can really appreciate it
Oh...thanks Yes, it would be great to visit again...who knows, as hubby is so desperately homesick, it could be sooner than we think.
yeah, you ought to check out the market! I did once, a long time ago, as a tourist, w/my ex. Can you imagine, however, that in almost 4 yrs. I *lived* in England, we ~didn't~ go to London once...So many situations...I did enjoy aspects of England...I was in the Land of People I Idolize; we went to Bronte Country, Blackpool, & saw Elton John in concert in his home country! I've idolized him since I was a little child. We took a little trip to Paris when i was about 6.5 months preggie, so I could see where Jim Morrison is supposedly buried.!! I saw the Queen give her address, live (TV) on 4 XMas's! We lived in a tiny town in the West Midlands, where I think people kept thinking I was a tourist (or just plain weird! Ok... I love weirdness, too only I wanted to shrink into the Air sometimes, while in our town. I talk too much!
If you do decide to head out to Camden sometime, please PM me? I'd love to ~speak~ with you if you have a moment. Thanks, either way.
I do love your avatar, btw.....& yes, I also love weirdness....maybe it's all I know sometimes LOL xxCherylFaith
Re: Barry M: Dazzle Dust (eye sparkle)
I love and adore Barry M Dazzle Dusts and I fidn them to be just as good as MAC Pigments.
Stargazer stuff is a bit hit and miss in my experience.
Re: Barry M: Dazzle Dust (eye sparkle)
I bought 3 Barry M Dazzle Dusts the other day, they are all in the brown/gold family. I can't remember the numbers - I think two of them are 'chocolate' and 'copper'. If anyone wants swatches let me know. I really love them. All the shades are gorgeous and the textures are lovely. I only wish I could've bought more but couldn't afford it just now....I do plan on going back and getting some of the red ones, and the black one, and as many others as I can!
Re: Barry M: Dazzle Dust (eye sparkle)
I've recently purchased a whole bunch of DD's in various different colours but after initally thinking they looked great - i'm not as impressed now I've actually got them and have tried them. They are messy to apply (granted, all pigments are) but the colour pay off doesn't seem as good as I hoped, and they don't last as long as I hoped once applied (will have to try them with UDPP) - plus they really are a bit too 'glitzy' for my liking. Personally, I am much more impressed with my UD deluxe eyeshadows - much better colour payoff and a nicer effect with minimal effort. Of course, JMHO!
