i've finally found my HG mascara! lashexact comes with an enhanced mascara brush that supposed to cause no clumps. and it did just that! no clumps or "spider legs" and no flakiness. this mascara makes my lashes beautifully defined. i suggest trying this.

Comments- Well I've been using this for the past 4 months... I haven't found anything to replace it yet... I'm going to switch to Lancome Definicils (because I just bought it) and try that... but if it's not majorly amazingly different... then I'm going back to this.... this is the best product for the money... and I would love to not spend 22 dollars plus tax on mascara! Looovely product... no flaking... looks perfect if you run a lash comb on your lashes afterwards. Agree with wontpayretail23, I like saving money to put elsewhere on MAC products =)

Comments: i love how it didnt cause any clumps but it lengths my lashes like all the other d/s mascaras. just about the same. i'll probably just keep the brush after its done wash it and see if i can use it in a different tube. hahha

This stuff really does work wonders. It makes my lashes look long and fanlike. Running a comb through them and then curling them makes my lashes look long, full, and defined. LOVE IT!!!

Finally, I found my HG mascara, I adore this one. It is perfect, lenghtens and no clumps, flakes or runs. Best of all, it is cheap! I read about it in Allure and went right out to buy it.

It's an okay mascara. It does get a little clumpy. It's not any different than any other d/s mascara I used from Almay, or Max Factor. Heck, even dept store macaras average out to be the same. I am begining to think they are made from the same manufacturer. It's not a bad product, not fantastic either. I wouldn't have a problem buying it again but I think I am going to try other mascaras to continue my search for a HG.

On another note, I think the bottle is a big illusion. My Clinique gift with purchase (sample size) mascara has more product than a full size Covergirl lash exact bottle:

Clinique Gift w/ purchase mascara bottle: .14 oz

Covergirl Lash Exact full size bottle: .13 oz

L'Oreal Voluminous mascara: .28

There is more product in one tube of L'oreal Voluminous than there is in two tubes of Covergirl lash exact.

I generally like volumizing mascaras, but as this mascara is intended to be clumpfree and not necessarly volumize, I won't comment on the lack of volume I usually love. I do love this for work, however. There aren't any clumps, no flakes, and it actually lengthens my lashes a bit. I'm still searching for my HG, and though CG LE isn't that, I may go back to it.

I absolutely love this mascara. I used to use Lash Discovery mascara with the tiny brush because I always got clumps with other mascaras. But this brush is even better!! Seriously, no clumps, even coats, excellent lasting power. Great product!

at first i must admit I doubted the size of this mascara. It looked TINY on the shelves. But seeing as how you should throw out your mascara every three months or so, it's more than you need. <3x100

I love how it doesn't clump like my other ones do. I usually use it after I use a volumizing one to seperate my lashes. This is the only one that I would use on my lower lashes just because it works perfectly.

I too found this mascara wonderful, especially for a drugstore mascara. 4mL is what kind of let me down. As pointed out before, even some of the samples I've receieved have more than 4mL.
