L'oreal HIP Cream Shadow Paints -- Overall
These are fabulous! The only thing I wish they'd remedy is the color selection (they need more, and a more varied selection). There are around 6 different colors of these paints and they each come with a decent brush. I'm not very drawn to the HIP line but this product intrigued me. I'm crazy about the texture of these and the smoothness at which they apply and finish. I first purchased Witty (which shows a subdued coppery color on me) at full price. When I visited another drugstore they had these BOGO 1/2 price and, since I was already smitten with Witty, I bit and bought Secretive (a universally flattering kind of "fleshy" color) and Nervy (a taupe). I am again pleased. Oh, and another plus: you get more of the L'Oreal product (it's 0.25 oz/7.2g versus MAC Paint's 6.5g) for $11.99.

I'll say it: I like these better than MAC Paints.

Re: L'oreal HIP Cream Shadow Paints -- Overall
I just bought Secretive as well. Just this morning, actually LOL. I've never used a MAC paint because I just started getting into MAC and the Paint Pots just came out which I LOVE. However, I thought I'd try these paints. I have to say, I'm impressed. Its really, really smooth and it is the perfect shade to be completely netural on me. When I saw how small the tube was I thought it might run out quickly but OMG. I had a tiny amount on my finger and it was to much! Seriously, I put some of it on my other eye too! I'm not sure about the staying power just yet but I've heard good things so I'll wait and see.

Re: L'oreal HIP Cream Shadow Paints -- Overall
Ok, I was skeptical for a while, but was dying to check them out, so I did
Bought the SECRETIVE, the lightest shade. Goes on really smooth, sheer and delicate, I think we've got a winner here. Eyeshadow/pigments stay on all day, no crease

this is Mac's paint in Stilife for comparison, its pearlier, a tad heavier.
