L'oreal: Lineur Intense Felt tip - General Review (Eyeliner)
Rating: 9
Price: 3
Packaging: 9
Would you Repurchase? yes
Comments: I have used Lineur Intense Felt tip for a few years now and continue to recommend it to liquid liner newbies and pros alike. First of all, it is identical to Lancome Artliner. The actual product and the applicator tip are exactly the same. Of course the outer packaging is different, but it is just as good as that of Lancome. Artliners cost 26.50 US and Lineur Intense is arorund $6 IIRC. Because it is a drugstore product you can often find this on sale for even less.
The only difference between Artliners and Lineur Intense is the color range available. Artliners are available in many colors, but LI are only available in 3 colors (regular line-there have been some LE shades): Black Noir, Brown Brun, and Mineral Grey. Black and Brown are exactly the same as the Black and Brown Artliners. Mineral Gray is my HG liquid liner. It's a charcoal black color with a gold shimmer-certainly not chunky glitter, but a discernable metallic micro fleck.
I've found that my Lineur Intense seems to last even longer than Artliners. I have Asian eyes without any crease whatsoever, and most eyeliner transfers and/or fades on me. Only a few e/l work on my eyes-Mac fluidlines, Lancome artliners, and L'oreal Lineur Intense. The liquid e/l do require that I wait a brief second or two to allow them to dry but it really is minimal compared to the time I spend touching up pencil e/l. I've even used Lineur Intense on my inner rim (bottom) with no irritation, but I did notice that it disappeared, probably due to blinking and moisture.
I'm rating the Lineur Intense Felt Tip a 9 only because of the lack of shades. Price is low, especially compared to the department store twin, Artliners. The packaging is just fine, although I wish the printing on the bottom label was a bit bigger.
