Call me CRAZY, but I saw Beyonce on the cover of vanity and I looked at the mag credits and saw that makeup they had on her. The mascara was listed so I purchased it. It seems really ordinary like all others, but im sure this thing - without an eyelash curler- made my lashes look a 1/4 of an inch longer. Go buy it.

i heard raves about this mascara so i decided to try it...it did a great deal lengthening my lashes, but my lashes are already long enough to begin with so that's not what i was looking for - i'm looking for VOLUME. and "voluminous" didn't seem to do it for me.

i stock up on voluminous all the time and it works great for me. i've also used lancome definicils mascara first then applied voluminous. everyone kept asking me if i was wearing falsies. i always tell my clients about this mascara since it's afordable! especially around the holidays they run specials where it's $3.50 or $3.99 at cvs, target, or any drugstore.

i think this mascara does a great job, i really like the flexibility of it and i like the thickness i get when i use it. it doesn't clump, even when applied in layers, but it kinda seems to "fade" sometimes, like it's not as intense black, after wearing all day.

This was way too thick and heavy. It didn't make my lashes have any more volume, it just made them clumpy and shorter looking. My lashes are pretty long naturally and I don't want mascara to make them look shorter. I also tried wiping the brush, but that didn't help in the application at all.

I looovee this mascara. I can apply many coats without it clumping. I use the waterproof (if that makes a difference). When i go out at night, i put a coat of Lancome Defiicails over it. Looveee it.

This mascara does make my lashes look fuller, but there are quite a few clumps that I have to remove before they look alright. Still, nothing that a eyelash comb can't do. Not a bad mascara. Easy to remove too (the water-soluble version) Still prefer Maybelline's Full and Soft though.

I love this mascara! I think, with the exception of maybelline great lash (we just can't let go of this, huh), it's the only thing I really buy. When I work, I go for the waterproof -- and that is better for layering coats. For me, everyday, I use the regular...not waterproof...and I notice that I have to go on and apply it coat after coat -- not waiting too long. If I want to reapply some later, it doesn't work as well. When it dries, I've seen in photos that it makes my lashes look heavy and unnatural (not in a good way). It doesn't provide that long, wispy look that way. The comb does help if you use it while it's still wet. Other than getting your personal application down -- I LOVE IT!!!! I think Destiny's Child is why I started using this mascara a long time ago. There is a book that Tina Knowles authored about them, and they credited Voluminous. That's all I've really used since then.

To me, it makes me feel like 10 tons of weight were placed upon my eyelashes. It feels really clumpy and thick, even after I used it for the first time. I'll stick to my Estee Lauder sample mascaras!

well i spend quite some time on my mascara, probably more then the rest of my face to make sure that i don't have clumpiness, and this is the mascara i use. i get compliments on my eyelashes all the time to where people ask me if my eyelashes are fake. i have my other friends hooked it on it too. i've been using this for almost 4 years and i've never thought about using a different mascara since.

i loove voluminious mascara! been using it for a few years now and its one of my two faves, the other one being almays lengthening mascara....
it can be a bit clumpy as it gets to the end of the road kinda fast.

I think this is very good mascara for it's price and quality. It makes your eyelashes look fuller and thicker and a little bit longer - so it's is quite a good package overall! It does not clump, the texture of mascarabase is nice and color is good. It's not the kind of mascara that you would wear on a night out, but it is definately one of the best basic mascaras I have ever tried in this price range. I think this is the kind of mascara which works on many different kinds of lashes.

I've been using Voluminous for years now, and it's still my favorite. One of the things I like most about it is that my lashes still feel pretty soft after it's applied. I can't say the same for most other mascaras I've tried! It never goes on right with the very first application, though (after opening a brand new tube). I'm not sure why that is, but it takes a time or two for it to get "right."
