i was in the drugstore the other day, not even meaning to buy any of the new milani eyeshadows. i barely even wear much eyeshadow anymore. but there was fiji flower. and it was so beautiful and unlike any other color i have. so... yada yada yada, i have fuji flower now

i never got people's full-on comparison of milani with mac. to me thier texture was "harder" and the pigmentation, while good, was sometimes chalky, uneven, and not completely on par with mac (depending on the shadow.)

this shadow has a much better texture than a lot of the other milani shadows do, imo. not only does it go on like buttah, it layers great, blends well, and stays on (i wore it over a paint.)

now i'm curious to try out the other new colors. there's one that looked similar to contrast i might check out.
