In the pot it looks purple put when applied, it looks more like a fuchsia/pink-purple color with some shimmer. It's a very pretty color, but I wish it was more...purple. I ♥ Milani shadows. They are great quality and easy to work with.

It's a purple-pink shimmer color with a hint of blue (depending on how the light hits it). I got this shade since someone on myspace said it was similar to the pink pearl pigment so I had to get it (I don't own any piggies

). It's very easy to blend and I usually have it somewhere on my eyes almost everyday.

i love how shimmery shock is. and it's very pigmented, you can pretty much use it without a base and not even have to worry about reapplying. definately worth the $1.99 haha XD

General Comments on this product: I am pale skinned and dark featured, and this product sort of change tones in the light. In certain lights it looked a lot like a fuschia-pinky-purple, yet other times it was definitely more of a bluish-purple. It is a pretty, versatile shadow, and applies well, and with Milani you can't beat the price.

I was completely unimpressed with this eyeshadow. After buying Java Bean & Atlantis, I had such high hopes for this color. When I applied it, it looked like a pinkish purple glitter wash on me no matter how much I layed. This looks like something that should come in a kids playtime makeup set. Ugh.

it doesn really come out too pgmented on me but i do like the color... it turned out to be better than i expected because i dont think i would have used a super pigmented purple anyhow... so its nice... and for the price... shoot... cant complain!

I do not like this shadow for eyes much because I am used to using pigments which are much more intense, and Shock tends to fade in an hour or two enough to make me frustrated. It is a gorgeous lilac fuchsia color with purple blue shimmer. I do find it helpful to use as a blush for certain looks, so I enjoy having it.

Just in case anyone is interested, there is a pigment out there that is what Shock should be and it is almost the same price. It is called Magenta from Sweetscents.com.

I will be reviewing that soon under the Misc category since it is not available at drugstores or department stores.

I love this color, I like to use it with milani enchantment (purple). It's fun to play with but I definetly wouldn't wear it to work.

This is slightly sheer, but considering its a very bold color, I'm ok with that. It is very easy to layer and build up. Shock is absolutely the PERFECT base for stars n rockets. It makes the duochrome of SnR pop. Highly recommened & I'd buy it again.

Everyone pretty much said it all. But I wanted to add, this color looks SO GOOD when applied wet.. And it doesnt get nasty in the pan.

I love this color.
It's very similar to a MAC color(not sure of the name).
I give it a 4 because MAC is easier to blend and doesn't cake as bad when you get it wet.
