NYX- jumbo eyeshadow pencils

I recently purchased two, one in lavender and one in yogurt. Yogurt is like a light brown with shimmer and lavender is well....light lavender lol. Anyway they make great eyeshadow bases as I used yogurt with NYX bronze with MAC cranberry..didnt crease all day. Im wore the lavender pencil with NYX purple and violet eyeshadows..no creasing as well

Would I buy again?: YES!!! I found a store with a great display as well as some marked down colors.

I got the jumbo pencil in Yogurt from a swap. It's a very creamy and shimmery pencil. It's pretty neutral, so I feel like it could be used with any color combination. Not good enough to use as a base though, because it creased on me in a few hours. It did help somewhat in making colors show up more intensely, though. I'd like to try some more colors of these too.

I bought the black and the dark brown. Way too emollient to use as a base (on my eyes anyway). It is the blackest black out there, but it smears really badly. I even tried to set it with a black shadow and it still smeared.

I have three: Milk (matte white), Purple (shimmery bright mid purple) and Black. They are very creamy, and the colors are gorgeous. I use them more often as a base, but sometimes I wear them as cream eyeshadows as well; in this case they are bound to crease, but: they do crease less than many other pretensely crease-resistant eyeshadows. And that is one of the great bonuses of this product, in my opinion: being so smooth and still creasing less than so many other crappy cream e/s in the market.

I really like these. I use them as eyeshadow bases and have every color that NYX offers. They dont crease, are very creamy and soft. Great cheap find!

I dont really like it, it creases badly on me and when I used it over my UDPP it just made some weird looking consistency and without it its just asking for trouble. It's cheap so maybe I would try to experiment some more but at the end i rather spend my money on shadestick.

I have Brown, Cottage Cheese, Yellow, Orange, Lemon, Black, Purple, and Cherry. I like these pencils because they go on soooo smoothly and they look great under my shadows. I try to use them when I have on UDPP because my eyelids are very oily. The bad part is of course, it can crease. And for me creasing is, you look up and the middle part of your eyeshadow is gone. I could never wear these alone. I tried and my eye was gone by noon.

That being said, it's still worth the $3 bucks to me.

i find them to oily they just slide right off soon as i use them the texture is nice but even over a primer they don't hold.

I several different colors and they all work great! I'm hoping to sell off my shadesticks to use these instead. But... my lids are dry- I can see how if you have oily lids, that they wouldn't work as well.
