Right side - In the pan it looks like a brown shadow with gold micro glitter. When you apply it bare (ie. No base or primer) it shows up as a matte brown with messy gold glitter. When you use it with a base or a primer it becomes a deep brown shadow with a golden sheen to it.

Left side - In the pan it only looks like a blue shadow but when you apply it bare and start smudging or blending it, the colour is more gold with a blue-green sheen. When using it with a base or primer the shadow is an intense blue colour with gold-green sheen. Basically if the shadow is dabbed or packed on the colour is bluer and when it’s blended or smudged the colour will be more of a golden-green.

The packaging is nice, it has two separate flip compartments with mini-mirrors on the inside. Overall I love this duo because it’s so unique and there are lots of ways to play around with the colours. Since there are so many different colours an added bonus is feeling like it’s a mini-palette instead of just duo shadows =)

As much as I love this duo, I personally would not buy it again especially at the full price of $19 CAD (I only bought it because it was on sale)
