Would you buy this product again? Never.
This might be a real bargain price liquid eyeliner, but I found this a horror beyond compare when I first tried it several years ago... much more recently I "gave it another go" when I ran out of liquid liner on vacation unexpectedly and this was the only brand I could get my hands on... and it's still every bit as bad. Here's why:-
1. The brush is horrible, long and spindly yet strangely the fibres are also a bit scratchy, making trying to apply this baby one sure-fire way to end up smudging black liner everywhere or/and poking yourself right in the eye.
2. The liner itself (if you can actually manage get some applied on the lid) seems to dry to a strange plasticy shiny finish, which I found not aesthetically pleasing at all... almost as if someone had dribbled thin black nail varnish across the edges of my eyelid.
3. Worst of all, this liner - BOTH times I purchased it several years apart - made my eyes sting to red hell, itch and water. Before long I was rubbing my eyes in discomfort and running for the eye makeup remover. Imagine my horror when I rubbed my eye and found this liner come off in long, stringy, plasticy blobs something similar to those horrible cheesey strings/ snack things you can buy..... ewwwwwww....
Granted, I have pretty sensitive eyes, and almost ANY product will have people who react to it......but to me the Rimmel brush and texture just aren't very good anyway, the gloopiness is yukk, and I'd recommend anyone who buys this to test *just a little bit* on their eyelids before going the whole hog (as I did, to my sufferance) just in case.....
I am and always have been a fan of "big" black eyeliner, and these days, I wear liquid eyeliner almost every day and the product I use most is Collection 2000 fast stroke liquid liner (a UK brand - cheap as anything - even cheaper than Rimmel - with a nice short stiff almost pen-like brush I find foolproof, and a nice wet formulation), or alternatively I'll use a gel liner like Mac's fluidline or Bobbi Brown.
I'd do without eyeliner completely than ever have to use this product again though!
