I ran across this gem on Ebay and decided to take a gamble because the colors looked oh so pretty in the picture not expecting much. The colors are super pigmented and a little goes a loooooong way. The colors blend very well and come in both matte and shimmer. Huge array of color options for about $40 (including shipping). Only real gripe is that the shadows are pretty tiny (2cm round) and it took sooo long to receive it (from Canada to AZ). I reccomend if you have been skeptical about gambling on these items to go ahead and try them out! I now have soooo many options to try and will get MAC substitutes if I like particular colors.

^exactly what I have and I LOVED it. I bought it when I just go into make-up instead of speanding a lot on eye shadows individually. Great investment and very good quality. Only a few eye shadows were hard and can barely use them. (like the black and some green and yellow). It could have been just mine though.

I had this palette about 2 years ago and gave it to my little sister because the shadows easily crumbled and broke and the color payoff wasn't sufficient for my taste. I had bought it on Ebay for about $30.

I love my 88 color palette. I, too, purchased the palette from Coastalscents.com. I'm anxiously anticipating the arrival of my 88 Ultra Shimmer color palette too!!!! Can't wait!!!

Hey guys! I'm a newbie to this board. Hello to all!

Anyway, I wanted to share my opinion of the 88-makeup palette.

I purchased mine on Friday morning from Coastal Scents.... it shipped to my house by Monday afternoon. I opened the box, which was in perfect condition, and I was amazed by the vibrancy of the colors. I've only used the neutrals for work this morning, and it is 3:50p and the only thing I've touched up today is my lipglass. I'm so excited about the palette, although I probably won't get much use out of some of the brighter colors (unless I do some major color experiments). Since I liked the 88, I want the 28 neutral, but they are OUT OF STOCK according to the website. I'll definitely check back every other day or so, cuz I can't miss out on such a great deal!

After seeing all the reviews on youtube, I've gone ahead and purchased my palette, the 88 Ultra Shimmer Palette. I'm so excited. I selected USPS priority shipping. I will let you know when it arrives and what I think!

I own the 88 palette from CS! It's a lovely investment. It was less than $30 CAN with shipping, conversion, and tax. I've had it now for about half a year and I'm really pleased with it. They color pay off is great.. other than a few of them which give hardly any color at all for some reason (like the bright yellow). But it's definitely worth the money. It's great for beginners too because you can test out all kinds of different colors on your eyes for a cheap price!

I bought mine like 3 weeks ago and i luuuuuuuv it! The colors are so pigmented and when u use it with a primer the color last for a veeeeery long time. The shippin' left me spechless! is amazing! It's suuuuper fast! U should totally get it!

I just received mine today!! Shipping was ridiculously fast given the holiday and the weekened. I'm so excited. The colors are amazing, they're smooth and vibrant even without a base/primer. I'm going to do some side by side swatches with similar mac colors soon.
