beauty department manager

hey, i work for a big chemist chain in the uk and i'm being promoted from cosmetics/fragrance consultant to the manager of the beauty department.
i just want to ask what you like about your beauty department managers and what you think isn't so good about them, so i can learn from others mistakes

well congrats first off on your promotions!

very exciting!

i think the biggest thing for me is that i would want a manager to treat everyone the same (no favorites) and someone that wouldn't ask me to do something that they wouldn't do themselves.

when i was a manager i tried hard to be what i would have wanted in my manager!
