So I recently applied to sephora since they are opening new stores.

I applied and I had to call a few times in order to get into an interview. I finally got one and had it last Friday,

at the end of the interview she said she would let us know by next week. and Im anxious! I dont know if the weekend counts...should I call or should I wait until atleast tomorrow, giving them one week day since the interview?

If not, then how long should I wait? the thing is I need this job not only do I WANT the job I NEED it. My economic standing right now is horrible and I need to feed little mouths. Make up is my passion so this job would be ideal.

All that to say that I have been applying to TONS of places alot that are taking applications but not really hiring so I keep getting the " well were taking applications but were not hiring. However, we will hold your application for 30-40-60 days" depends on the place. so I need to know asap.

what do I do? do I call already? if not how much longer should I wait?

i don't think the weekend counts. i would wait until tomorrow at the least, but wednesday would probably be your best bet, being that it's the middle of the week. while you don't want to rush them, you DO want to show interest. so i would definitely follow up by wednesday if you haven't heard back from them. good luck!

if she said she would let you know next week, meaning this week then i am sure she will call. it's only monday if you don't hear from her by friday then call next monday.

I used to work @ sephora and I went for about 3 interviews.. they will call you back.. that is the same thing they said to me.. wait about a week.. it's usually a lenghty hiring process from what other cast members have told me.. so just be patient!
