I am now a MAC employee! Detailed description of my demo and interview. Long post

After glam8babe decided to apply, I got inspired to apply too.

I went to my favorite counter that I frequent. I talked to the manager and she was thrilled I wanted to apply for a freelance position. I have a demo on the 18th, but I will call her tomorrow for the exact time because she had an appointment waiting. The other girl working complimented my make-up. So my confidence is soaring. I can't wait to try out. I would love to work for MAC.

When you have a demo interview can you do any look you want or do they give you a look they want you to produce?

Just remember that there is a nationwide hiring freeze throughout the company so they might only hire you as a freelancer or they might just hold off until the freeze is over. So if you don't gets the position right away don't let yourself get discouraged. Blame it on the stupid freeze haha.

from what i know, they give you some sort of scenario.

I talked to the manager and she said most likely a scenario. She gave me two scenarios that they usually do. She said she is not worrying about me though. She thinks I will do great.

I spoke with the manager and she said the hiring freeze does not affect Freelancers in my region.

I will keep you all updated. My demo is 3/18.
