Mac Certification levels for freelancers?...
I couldn't really find anything about this, so I'm sorry if this is an old topic.

I'm wondering whether or not mac freelance artists go through the same certifications as the counter artists. It's kind of stupid, but I've always wanted to earn the jewelry, etc because I feel like that is a quintessential mac sort of thing, plus I think it would be helpful to know everything i can about the products and what they're meant to do.

I have an interview and I'm pretty open to doing either freelance or counter, but I feel like I'd rather work there and receive all of the extensive training, even if some of it is stuff I already know from being in the industry for so long, so it might effect whether i freelance or not.

any info would be extremely helpful!

certification and jewelry are for permanent employees. freelancers don't get any training, jewelry or certification of any type.

Re: Mac Certification levels for freelancers?...
No they don't get certifications. That would be neat if they did some kind of certification for them, so never say never.

These are the certs for an permanent artist:
Focus Feature
Peak Hour Demo
Application
Lesson
Advanced Makeup (which I am excited about the new format)
FAshion Show
seminar (forgot what the offical name is)

Those are the ones I can remember on the top of my head.
